Mariano Davies is President and CEO at the British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark. Besides a majority shareholding in the MSC Group (technology and consulting), Mariano Davies is also the President and CEO of Oxford Institute (B2B language coaching, communication and professional services).

When KPMG was formed in 1988, Mariano Davies became a Partner and an HR Director running e-learning for KPMG worldwide for a ten-year period. Since 1998, he has been running various companies that have owned all the e-learning intellectual property that he helped develop and purchased from KPMG via MSC Group.

He has also held board positions on several professional boards since 1985 (in Denmark, Norway, Spain, UK and Hong Kong). In 2007, he was appointed Vice Chairman of Copenhagen Compliance and have co-chaired many global conferences on GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) ever since. He has also spoken at many of the conferences on related issues. In March 2009 to December 2015, he was an elected member of COBCOE (Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe) Executive Advisory Board as Chairman of COBCOE Training Commission and later the same year, he was also appointed the COBCOE Nordic-Baltic Regional Chairman. In 2016, he was appointed Chairman of the Advisory Board of the NGO “Crossing Borders”.

He grew up in Kent, went to a British boarding school and obtained a university education (London & Oxford). After teaching and lecturing for two years in the UK, I worked as a business consultant and lecturer in Denmark.
