Advisor for International Policy, Strategic Planning, Sustainable Development and Communications

An international Advisor for strategic and multilateral issues, sustainable development, cultural issues as well as the arts and communications.

During most of his career, he has served as Assistant Director-General for Strategic Planning of UNESCO, as Special Advisor to the UNESCO DG, and as Director of the Information Technologies for Development Programme of UNDP.

He is Honorary Professor of the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou and the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (since 2014), as well as Guest Professor of Jinan University (since January 2021). Among other awards and distinctions, he was elected Fellow of the World Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2014.
