Mystery Makers is redesigning the museum experience through their “Mystery Hunt”; an intellectual treasure hunt for groups of adults. Today, museums all over the world are seeking a partnership with Mistery Makers, to offer innovative and engaging experiences to their public.

Through games, historical tales, and puzzles, “Mystery Hunt” offers a self-designed experience, where the museum visitors explore and interact with each other. The idea behind this product is to fight against the ‘sleepwalk’ kind of museum visitor, and to attract a new and broader audience to museums. And the truth is that the facts speak for themselves; Mystery Hunt participants spend a much longer time at the museum than ordinary guests, exactly 1.5 to 2 hours.

‘ “Mystery Hunt” is attracting a new type of museum visitor – through gamification. The visitors interact with each other as they explore the museum and solve puzzles. It’s a different way of experiencing art than solemnly observing the works. ‘ – Sabine Haag, General Director, Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien.
